Black Pond is situated in the hardwood forest north of the Leslie Science Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The pond is remarkable because it is perched above adjacent lower lying land.
This pond was added to the Water Quality Survey in the spring of 2010 and this year we are establishing base line data for this site. The physico-chemical parameters of the pond reveal a specific conductance that is very low, just 100.
